You can't, because @mac.com is only to personnel of Apple

Not true at all mac.com addresses were issued as part of Apple internet services some two iterations back in history

Apple subsciption Internet services history is something like

    1.      iTools (Free launched 2000 time to 2002)

    2.      Mac  both provided - mac.com emails  (Paid service 2002- 2008)

    3.      Me.com -  Existing mac.com addresses retained plus a me.com address added to same account. New          subscribers only offered me.com  (Paid 2008- 2011 - Some servies stil running through to June 2012 for          those that paid in early 2011)

    4.     Current icloud continues to offer only me.com addresses. (Current and FREE service)

When I first got an Apple id it was a mac.com address.  I'm not an Apple employee.

It then changed to a me.com  Both still work.
