Q: Quick Time - an 1/0 error occurred
On my emac I have standard Quick Time 7.7 - not Quick Time Pro.
Just one or two of my VCDs play OK, the rest get this message;
THE MOVIE WON'T PLAY, AN 1/0 ERROR OCCURRED
How can I fix this?
Is there any other safe software I could use to play VCDs?
I googled the error message and one forum said download VLC player but I went to a site called VideoLan
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html
and it said it's got a player for Mac OSX but I was nervous about downloading from a strange site so I didn't do that because when I hit
Download POWERPC MAC, it immediately got directed to another site called SourceForge
http://sourceforge.net/projects/vlc/files/1.1.12/macosx/vlc-1.1.12-powerpc.dmg/d ownload
so I aborted the download.
Why does my Quick Time play just a few VCDs and not the rest?
Is there any other safe player to download and try?
Thanks if you can help.
