Hello,

I had an old .mac apple ID that I merged with a gmail email account (My then primary email).  I then discovered that .me mac accounts were available.  I set up a .me account and it is merged or associated with my original .mac, now gmail apple ID, account.  The problem is now when I log in with my .me email address everything comes us as xxx@gmail.com.  I cannot change my primary email or get rid of the gmail association.  Is there anyway to change my apple ID to  GET RID OF THE GMAIL?  This is frustrating me to no end.  If Apple wants me to keep using Google perhaps I should take my new shiny 4S back and go back to a Droid.

    Ryan,

We're all users on this forum, volunteering our time to help others.  We are not Apple employees.  When you post ridiculous statements and threats like the one above it makes you look ridiculous and uneducated, and most of us will simply move on and refuse to help.

Your problem is frustrating, to be sure, but if you want an answer, take a deep breath, post your problems clearly and succincly and WITHOUT ranting, raving, complaining, whining, threatening and other such behavior and I guarantee, you'll get help for your problem.

    Best,

    GDG

I see how your cheerful and amiable attitude is really working for you in terms of getting help.

    Best of luck.

gdg - No amount of sweet talk is getting this problem fixed.  No need to be so sensitive amount a problem you can't fix yourself.
