If Apple wants me to keep using Google perhaps I should take my new shiny 4S back and go back to a Droid.
We're all users on this forum, volunteering our time to help others. We are not Apple employees. When you post ridiculous statements and threats like the one above it makes you look ridiculous and uneducated, and most of us will simply move on and refuse to help.
Your problem is frustrating, to be sure, but if you want an answer, take a deep breath, post your problems clearly and succincly and WITHOUT ranting, raving, complaining, whining, threatening and other such behavior and I guarantee, you'll get help for your problem.
I'm sorry I offended your delicate sensibilties. Perhaps next time instead of taking the time to write 2 paragraphs on how I should be more grateful for you and less frustrated with a technical issue from a company that has redefined itself through promoting ease of use, you should just help that next person. I bought this phone for work, but both it and Google will suffice. It isn't a threat, this is a business based on ease of use.
Ryan - This issue has been a problem for several months. See here:
gdg - No amount of sweet talk is getting this problem fixed. No need to be so sensitive amount a problem you can't fix yourself.
Thank you for the response. Interestingly enough, when I sign in with either apple ID, either the legacy .mac (merged with primary email) or the .me address, I seem to be signing into the same account. However, in iTunes it lists as xxx@gmail and for iCloud it lists as .me. Perhaps my IDs are merged and my primary email problem is a correllary issue.
I'm going to wait to start using the .me email. I had hoped to get the new iPad if it comes out end of first quarter for work and sync the two. If iCloud having this many issues perhaps I should wait to sync it all together. I would ask which ID files and apps are assigned to for syncing, but that may be more appropriate for a different thread.
