Q: Why won't Classic start in Tiger 10.11

I am running OS 10.11.  My classic will not start up.  I reinstalled OS9 several times to no avail.  Why am I having this problem?

I never have used any networking devices with Classic.  However, I do have a wireless D-Link that we use in the house for my son's MacBook and my wife's iPad.

If you remove the System Folder that contains the Control Panels folder from your system (putting it in the trash and Secure Empty Trash), and try reinstalling Classic using the instructions below, what happens?

I did what you suggested this morning before going to work.  I tried to start Classic and I left for work.  My system remained the same way when I returned home.  Classic was left in the starting mode for over 6 hours and it did not complete its boot up.  I guess I'll either have to give up on Classic, reinstall the original operating system and my 10.4 upgrade, along with classic again, or head for the closest Apple store to speak with an Apple genius.  I do appreciate your replying to me and attempting to help though.  Thanks!!
