Feb 23, 2012 10:21 PM in response to ddean72by Don Archibald,★HelpfulUsing Lion on my machine there is a minor 'cosmetic' glitch with regard to changing the font using the prefs pane as ~Bee suggests.
For example, when I change it via the prefs pane from the default Helvetica to my preferred Arial, when I open a new message the font menu still shows Helvetica. But, as soon as I type one character it changes to and displays Arial as I had set.
