Q: Start Safari in Fullscreen WITHOUT reopening old tabs

I have turned off the "Restore windows when quitting and reopening apps" option in the general system preferences but I would also like to have my fullscreen apps (such as Safari) start in fullscreen mode by default. Is there a way to do this?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Try leaving Safari in full screen mode when you shut down your Mac.

And setup Safari to launch when you startup ... open System Preferences > Security & Privacy - Login Items

No guarantees but worth a try ..

Good idea but doesn't work if I quit Safari without restarting my computer. I want it to start in fullscreen mode by default no matter when I decide to open Safari. Plus adding startup items slows the startup speed which I don't want either.
