Single album not appearing in iTunes Match

I have encountered a problem that I find very bizarre. I have been using iTunes Match for a few months now, and apart from a few of the typical complaints (mostly due to albums showing up in edited versions), I have been happy with the service.

This week, though I have encountered a problem that seems to be specific to a single album in my library. Earlier this month, I preordered the album Reign of Terror by Sleigh Bells. On Tuesday, I was able to download it to my main media computer with no problem. I have also been able to access it via iTunes Match on two other computers on which I have iTunes Match enabled. I have not, however, been able to access it on either my iPod Touch (4th gen) or iPad (1st gen). The rest of my library appears on these devices, but this album does not. I tried all the workaround I could think of, including deleting the songs from iCloud on my main computer and then re-uploading them to iTunes Match, with no luck. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Is there a known workaround?

Thanks in advance for any advice you have.

It's a bit speculative, but I wonder whether it may be that it is on your phone but for some reason it isn't showing up in the right place.

I assume that you haven't done anything to the metadata, but maybe there is something odd there. Depending on how big your library is, it may be worth just looking through the whole library to see whether it is in the wrong place for some reason.

I may be barking up the wrong tree, but I think this is more likely than it being totally missing.

I think the first thing you should check is the metadata of the album. The most common reason things don't show up where one might anticipate is because of the metadata. In particular make sure the Artist and Album Artist are info are entered correctly. Then use Search in the Music app to find the album. It is there, but for some reason it is not showing up in the place you expect it to be.

While in Music app, tap Albums, scroll to the top and tap in the search field, and type the name of the album. Try this again in the Artists view if necessary.
