Can I get back to the way emails were viewed in Snow Leopard?

What has happened to bounce?

I really don't like the new icons, looks dated, the older icons look way better. What's wrong with using color Apple? This mono color idea is just not user friendly at all! So far I see no real benefit for my $30! I will not be 'upgrading' my other mac!

any solutions friends? I'm all ears, thanks....Kevin

    In a word, no

And thank god Bounce has gone, what an intrusive piece of junk that was, spamming innocent users is very rude.

You can switch back to "Classic View" in Mail>Preferences>Viewing.

do you mean viewing the emails as a conversation?  You can change that under the View heading.  If you select the mailbox on the left, go to view and uncheck "Organize by conversation"

    HTH.

don't understand what you mean about Bounce....I used it to return spam to sender...not send spam to innocent users! very confunsed by your comment....

The email addresses used by spammers are spoofs of some poor souls actual address, having had their email hacked you add to their misery by bouncing the spam over to them, the spammer never sees the bounce, you become the spammer.

I have been using this feature for years! (bounce) why did Apple not let us know. This is the first time I have heard of this! Why didn't Apple remove it in the regular free updates as soon as they realised what the spammers were doing? Crazy, now I feel like I've been a spammer....who I am far from fond of!!

You, me and many others, once it dawned on me what I was doing I stopped, and finally Apple took the 'feature' away, and not before time. Unfortunately many still want it back ....... grrrrr

It was a good idea spoiled by the fact that the spammers are not dumb enough to use their own email addresses to spam from, and I was dumb enough not to realise that at the time.
