Feb 27, 2012 5:46 AM in response to ian-appleby Kenneth Mclauchlan,I am having the same problem. I am able to listen to only one category (Ambients) and all of the others are inaccessible. This problem did not occur until immediately after I upgraded to Lion.

Feb 27, 2012 11:59 AM in response to ian-appleby 2medusa,I've had the same problem for days and think I've found a workaround. Found the info below in the Help section of iTunes:
If you use Windows XP:
- Choose Edit > Preferences.
- Click Advanced.
- Click the Set button next to “Use iTunes as the default player for audio files.”
If you use Windows 7 or Windows Vista:
- Choose Start > Default Programs.
- Click “Set your default programs.”
- In the list on the left, click iTunes.
- Click “Set this program as default.”
I have Windows7 and after following the above instructions, my iTunes radio started working immediately as soon as I set it as the default player. Hope this helps.

Feb 28, 2012 8:44 AM in response to Flash Docby 2medusa,Sorry, I can't help you.
The iTunes Help files don't appear to address Mac settings for the radio. It appears this tuner problem is happening worldwide. Hopefully, it will get sorted out soon.

Why doesn't Apple acknowledge and announce the problem?

Mar 1, 2012 9:35 AM in response to ian-appleby downingfan,We have not been able to access it for over a week now. I finally got to sit down and work on some outdated information they had, had everything verified and it still doesn't work. Error message: "An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later." even though internet is working full speed with everything else. Play button is grayed out.

Mar 1, 2012 12:44 PM in response to ian-appleby L of the P,I found one work-around is to go directly to the radio station, through your browser. Station actually sounded better this way too. If you can look up the station's website, I've found it has worked fine this way so far.

Mar 1, 2012 6:18 PM in response to ian-appleby NYCLON,I've had this radio error message issue since Saturday. It's still not working. But some categories are working such as Country and Comedy???
However, I've just had a new iMac computer installed at work yesterday and all of the radio stations work in all categories? So what could be the probleM???
Why doesn't it work on my iMac at home but it works on my new iMac at work?
THANKS
