You don't want to stop the fan from running, they are doing that for a reason. What you need to do is find the reason why your processor is heating up. Solve that and the fans will slow down.
Now can you be a bit more specific about your problem? Are you saying that the fan is fully ramped up as soon as you open the computer? Because that wouldn't be normal!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Have you done an SMC reset? One of the symptoms that a reset is needed is that the fan runs at full speed constantly.
I see that you're on OS X10.7 'Lion'. How much system RAM is installed? Lion needs more RAM (2GB minimum, but 4GB preferred) and uses more microprocessor, in part because older video chipsets such as GMA950 provide less performance in older systems.

There’s one problem with running your MacBook with the battery removed. MacBooks and MacBook Pros automatically reduce the processor speed by about half when the battery is removed.

If you have a MacBook with the removable battery you can get a new third party battery fairly cheap on eBay.
Or for $129 from Apple http://store.apple.com/us/product/MA566LL/A?mco=MTY3ODQ5OTY

I noticed how much it had slowed down and was wondering why. The other problem with running it without a battery is the cord accidentally being disconnected when the hard drive is being used. It's cheaper in the end to just get a new battery. Thanks.

Glad I could help.
Some early MacBooks can only use 2GB RAM, and some like my mid-2007 2.16Ghz can only 'see' 3GB.
