I have a MacBook Pro i7 17inch from mid 2010 (MacBookPro6,1), Boot-ROM-Version MBP61.0057.B0F, SMC-Version 1.57f17

I put a new 750GB Harddisk into it, which I formatted MacOS Extended Journaled, GUID partition scheme, there is only one partition.

I mirrowed 10.7.3 with SuperDuper from an external Harddrive. Everything works fine.

But when I start Bootcamp Assisant it tells me that it cannot be used, because the Boot-ROM-Firmware has to be updated.

I went here and downloaded the MBP61.0057.B0F (EFI 2.6) for my computer.

The updater tells me: This software is not supported by your system.

What is wrong here?

Any Suggestions?

Thanks for Feedback

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3), 8 GB RAM, 30 ACD
