No. Snow Leopard requires an Intel CPU. See

Depending on which PowerBook G4 you have, your max OS version is either Tiger (v10.4) or Leopard (v10.5).

Mar 5, 2012 7:33 AM in response to fane_jby Rondalyn,Yeah after more research I figured that out I'm pretty sure my Powerbook is around year 2002 it Mac OS X version is 10.3.7 panther...yeah it's old.....but it was given to me and I'm thankful for that as I've never had a Mac before so if I could just get the software reinstalled I'd be happy.

Try the PowerBook forum or the Mac OS X v10.3 and earlier forum.
