Multiple 403 errors in iCal with iCloud

I am at the end of my rope here, and I'm hoping someone can help. I recently upgraded to Lion and iCloud, and my husband and I coordinate multiple calendars via iCal. It's worked fine until recently, but suddenly this week I get so many 403 errors every time I try to open iCal on my Macbook Air that I can barely get to the Preferences tab. I've attached a screenshot of the error that keeps popping up. No matter which of the options I hit ("Go Offline" or "Ignore"), the error keeps popping up within a couple of seconds. I tried deleting and re-adding my iCloud account, but that doesn't seem to have had an impact. At the moment, iCal is completey nonfunctional for me. Has anyone found a fix for this? And yes, I've run all software updates as of five minutes ago--everything is current.

    I think I have a solution: delete the shared calendars from your iCloud calendar list and then log into your husband's iCloud account. Stop sharing all the calendars in question and re-share them again to your iCloud e-mail address.


    I had to do this very thing and lo and behold, the new invitations took just fine and now, no more 403 errors. So, the source of the problem would appear to be a server-side permissions or backoffice kind of problem. The workaround is to delete the sharing properties (i.e. stop sharing) and then re-share the calendars again. I think maybe now with this information, Apple should be able to home in on a real fix but until then, try this workaround. Hope this helps you.
