I believe iCloud is strictly Lion only.  BDaqua has posted recently in this forum where others have posted about what to do with me.com  (I think about there may still be modest behind the scenes interface options with some applications).

Note that Apple basically considers G4s and Tiger history.  We bought an iPhone recently and when we asked about battery lifespan the salesperson said, "Oh, about two years. After that you'll be thinking about buying a newer model and we'll recycle the old one."  That's for something two years old vs. your 8+ year old model.

Hello Cedric, you can view iCloud, or even setup IMAP eMail that'll Sync at least eMail.

I think they're slowly nudging people to switch, .mac & MobileMe are going away about July, may as well set it up now.

I understand .mac mail will still come through.

iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...

    IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:

    Server name: imap.mail.me.com

    SSL Required: Yes

    Port: 993

Username: example@me.com (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)

    Password: Your iCloud password

    SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:

    Server name: smtp.mail.me.com

    SSL Required: Yes

    Port: 587

    SMTP Authentication Required: Yes

Username: example@me.com (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)

Hello....thank you so much.  This answers my question completely.  Yes, might as well get it done now.  Again, many thanks and have a good evening.
