They submitted, Steve almighty Jobs was so full with hate against Adobe that he decided for you and all of us that we won't enjoy flash.

Excepting in as an obvious fact and criticizing other people for thinking differently shows that you are narrow minded regarding apple.

If we wouldn't have asked for more improvements we were still using Nokia 5120.

The prophecy of HTML 5 as a Flash killer is quite naive, to break your bubble, you really believe all those auto industry companies will jump to HTML5 for no good reason? You will never ever be able to make such a polished and complex animations with HTML5. For God sakes HTML5 uses Flash to play complex sound sequences because it can not do it on its own, at least not properly.

You are either a flash developer or someone without a clue. Possibly even both.

Flash is dead. Give up and move on.

    I am neither of them.

I love apple products, but I dislike the walled garden policy. If we will take  Cydia apps. as an example, we will see that more then half of the improvements in every recent ios was in a way inspired by apps that were initially published there and had been created by 3d part developers who looked for other ways to stretch or question the Iphone/Ipad's abilities. because in the buttom line they are great products.

Flash is not a dead technology yet, in order to enjoy on-line streaming, web based games and more than all to be able to use flash based websites, flash is needed for the moment. I don't care if HTML 5 or 6 will take over, but it won't happen before 2 or 3 years from now.

Use Puffin browser. It uses a server farm that renders the flash content and steams it to the iPhone. It's the best solution although the flash audio lags behind. But for visiting sites with flash only web pages, it works pretty good.  Some video will be detected and can be played in full screen, in which case there is no audio lag. For videos that it doesn't offer full screen playback, it's too slow with bad leggy audio. Another good use of Puffin is for getting to the full site instead of the mobile sites that lack the content you seek.

This is for anyone looking for a flash player for the IPod, IPad or IPhone... Download Photon from the app store for 3.99... Do not waste your money on skyfire, it's for videos only... Photon is for gaming, videos and yes it works with Facebook games!

Of cource you want flash! It isnt cool missing out on half the Internet. Remember apple knows what's best for you, do not use your own mind and want something better like android. Apple will keep you minions all dumbed down ( pretty easy with apple devotees). Remember big brother apple is watching and doesn't like it when you say something against them. They delete almost all negative emails on this forum so what's let is a half truth at best!Batter 3 iPhone purchases I will NEVER buy a Crapple product again! Vote with your money, after all apple did create then loose this market regardless of " hype" as android is now and will always be the largest smart phone market. Oh yea, when I bought my 2nd iPhone from Rogers ( 3G) the demo stor model played all flash videos everywhere, then I got the dumbed down apple version. Crap!

    Your kinda out of

Uck with flash apple cut it off because Jobs didn't like the way it ran on the idevices it intergrated itself in using to many resources. HTML 5 is a better way to go but we with idevices have to sit and wait till it gets out on the web and web designers realize sites need to be equipped with it so we can view the sights with our devices not just with android and window machines.

simply because it lags. take a look at all the android devices that use flash, the websites load really slow, and when scrolling through them, they lag. HTML 5 is the new "flash" sure, not many websites have them YET, but it is alot faster and eco friendly, also less battery wasted.

I, for another of many, agree with those who don't care if the battery life is affected, and feel that even if it may not run right, Apple has no right to lock it out. Instead, regardless of the opinion of those who support Apple's decision, they should have simply warned of their contentions, and that it is at the user's risk.  The choice should ABSOLUTELY be ours to use it or not. It's utterly ridiculous for anyone to say that Flash is dead, at least until an OS or HTML is guaranteed to run ANYTHING already existing in Flash. As well, I don't believe for a moment that Adobe just didn't want to work a Flash version for the Apple products. Many have read Adobe's position that Flash would have been available, if not for Apple prohibiting it.  If Adobe has given in and doesn't support it, it is not because they agree with Jobs' decision.  This is an insult to everyone's intelligence, and I'm shocked that Apple wouldn't have been smart enough to realize that from the moment they made their first excuse.   And, quite obviously, hundreds of thousands of folks have read the same, and don't buy Apple's lame reasons.  So, here's an example for an Apple advocate to answer. I use the hallmark E-Card site a lot. I WANT to be able to do such on the phone. How specifically do I do that?  Do any of these other substitute apps guarantee to work for THAT very purpose?  I would like an advocate of Apple's ridiculous decision, to please respond with a direct answer to THAT specific question (OTHER than to get a different phone).  Thanks.

    Blah, blah, blah.

Adobe has stopped development and support for flash on ALL mobile devices.

If Hallmark decides to exclude a very substantial potential market with expendable income - Apple product sales have been extraordinary in a very poor US and world economy over the past 4-5 years, they have lost significant potential business. They could easily produce an iOS app or provide an HTML version in addition to only flush.

Sorry Vidguy this is a battle Apple won, IOS devices have so much market penetration your hard pressed to find a website that isn't 100% compatible with IOS. Soon they'll be no flash on any mobile devices, since Adobe has stopped ALL DEVELOPMENT FOR MOBILE DEVICES as previously mentioned.
