I would like to control my kids internet use - particularly the times they use. The airport utility on iphone is an excellent utility - it detects the devices attached. I would like to be able to turn off the wifi connection to my kids laptob and iphone - say 10.30 at night. Instead of going to their room and grabbing the laptop, if I could shut the wifi it will be great for their sleep and our sanity. can someone engineer this?

No need for Apple to engineer this.

The AirPort Extreme has had the ability or feature that you ask about for over 5 years. It's called Timed Access.

This allows you to set up daily time limits for each wireless device that connects to the network. The setting is accessed using the Manual Setup option in AirPort Utility.

Different devices can have different "rules".

So, for example you could set up your own computer for "Unlimited" access at any time while the kids' iPhones or laptops will only be able to connect to the network between say 8 AM and 10:30 PM each day.

If you cannot locate the TImed Access settings in AirPort Utility on your Mac, post back to let us know what operating system your Mac is using.

If you are not sure about that, click the Apple icon in the upper left hand corner for the screen and then click About this Mac to see the version of OSX that your Mac is using.

As you know, this is a user to user forum area, so it is extremely unlikely that anyone from Apple will see your post.

Your best option is to contact Apple directly with your feedback.

Unfortunately, Apple has dropped a number of features from the latest version of AirPort Utility, so that might provide a peek at their future thinking for new versions.

But, it cannot hurt to tell them what you would like to see.

Please start a new post for this separate question including the make and model number of your printer, any troubleshooting steps that you have already performed, whether this is a case of the printer working before and not working now....or it is a new printer that you are trying to configure, etc.
