My "other" laptop (MacBook 2 Ghz Core 2 Duo running 10.5.8) suddenly cannot consistently find our home network. The airport indicator sometimes sees our network and other times does not. When it does the signal strength is sometimes full and sometimes drifts down to a dot then zero. My current laptop (MacBook Pro 2.66 Ghz Core i7) sitting next to it sees the network, reads full strength and stays connected. So do our iPhones and iPads.

We've rebuilt permissions, restarted all to no avail.  Not sure what to do next.

Does it improve if you move the Flaky one around or closer to the Router/Modem?

Does it change if you move the lid? Sometimes the Antenna wire get frayed where it goes through the hinges.
