Q: Advertisements in User Profile and how to report?

When I browsed the "Similar People" links attached to my profile I found one member's profile, where the biography field was cleverly used as an advertisement to describe the service that is offered by the member.

My question: Is this within the rules permitted by the Apple Support Communities, and if not, how to report this properly?

The "Profiles" pages do not offer a "Report" button, and I do not want to use some arbitrary "Report" link attached to some innocent poster.

A:

You could post a link to the user's profile here and the hosts can take care of it, or you could look in the user's posts in his/her profile and click the report link on one of those and choose "Username or profile issue" as the reason you're reporting.

You don't need to report it when you post here... the hosts keep a close eye on this forum.

You're not allowed to report you're own mess ups, you have to wait for someone else to.

It's the whole shame on the public square thing, when you make a mistake it has to be visible at least long enough for someone else to notice it!
