Apple tends to discourage sharing specifics as part of the agreeement. The best you can hope for is vague yay/nay.

Pretty unfortunate... is people getting a single digit, double digits or triple digits downloads per day per book? What type of finger should we be expecting?
We are not in US but in Singapore - things are not easy when non of the 3 bookstores are available to us. We went through a lot of trouble to get into iBookstore (you can see many threads in this forum), and we are not sure what to expect for other bookstores.
Sales is a direct function of marketing. The more heavily you promote your books the better they sell. Additionally, iBooks Author is most likely not your best choice for a design and distribution platform, as it is iPad only. - Fabe
You are absolutely right. We are Singapore company (focus on children video DVD and apps) and we do not know how to market our books in US and Europe. If there is any kind souls that can point us some directions we can market our books, we will greatly appreciate it!
We do plan to switch over to ePub (using Pages) for our next - and might be final - set of books, to see whether supporting iPhone will increase our sales.
