What is the incoming mail server for iCloud?

pXX-imap.mail.me.com, where XX varies depending on your @me.com address.

Usually that means there's a problem at the server.  There were a lot of those when iCloud first started up, but things seem to have settled down over the last few days.  Have you ever been able to get your iCloud mail?

You can check iCloud server status here.

I suppose.  Have you tried quitting and restarting Mail?

Unfortunately, the status page is frequently wrong.  By wrong, I mean it says everything is online when it is clearly not.  However they determine "online", they need to do a better job.  I hope Apple understands how bad this looks.

    Hello,

I tried changing the incoming mail server on my iMac at home to what you suggested and received this message:  "The server returned the error: The server “pXX-imap.mail.me.com” cannot be contacted on port 995."

Am I supposed to change the incoming mail server on my iMac home compute to what you stated above so I can get mail again?  I can get the mail on the iPhone, but I want to be able to download the same emails to my home computer as well.  Or should I just forward all email accounts to gmail instead?
