Q: My display screen will black-out momentarily and come back on.

My display screen blacks-out momentarily then comes back on. This occurs enough to cause concern. I don't know if this is a software issue or hardware. I don't have alot of hours on this machine that would cause the elctronics to fail.

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Just to eliminate the obvious; do you have an all black screen saver and a hot corner defined to enable the screen saver (Desktop & Screen Saver system preferences, Screen Saver tab, Hot Corners button)?

Other obvious things to try; smc and pram reset.
