It is just a reflection of your account having been made back in the dot-mac days and kept active ever since. Internally, Apple links your @me.com and mac.com emails to one account. If you started as a mobileme member, you'd always have the @me.com as your primary. But, since you started at mac.com, moved to mobileme with that already existing and kept your mobileme account active right up to moving to iCloud, your primary is the mac.com name.
In reality, you have only a single iCloud account, but you have two emails registered internally with Apple - the mac.com and the me.com addresses both put their mail in the same account.
If you have any doubts,, just go to www.icloud.com in a web browser and log in there to check that it all works.

I have the same but opposite problem. I created a .mac several years ago before MobileMe and iCloud, and have usually received both .me and .mac email until someone tried last night and today. I tested myself to my .mac and nothing shows up and no bounce message.
