IMAC LION TOOLBAR

After installing Lion my toolbar is missing (not hidden).Where is it?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

    What do you mean by "toolbar" in this context?

     

    The strip across the top of the screen? That's called the 'main menubar'.

     

    The collection of icons (applications and folders) at the bottom of the screen? That's called the 'Dock'.

     

    Something else?

    Hi, Tanya -

     

    That then is not an IMac toolbar, nor is it a Lion toolbar.

     

    From what you posted, I guess this must be the toolbar at the top of a Safari window, correct?

     

    If it is in Safari, go to the View menu and select "Show Toolbar".

     

    It really helps us to help you quicker if you identify what program you are in when experiencing a problem - saves a lot of time asking clarification questions.

    Tanya.

     

    It is worth sticking with Safari. There is nothing wrong.

     

    To fix the missing toolbar, while Safari is open, go all the way up to the menu, click on view, and select the first item - "Show Toolbar" as shown in the following image:
