I cannot log into my account after having changed my password on the internet. I tried entering that same password on my computer mail account, but it won't work.

I have the same issue. I cannot get any of my mail on my iMac. I moved my mobile me account to iCloud after I upgraded to Snow Leopard. NOW I cannot access any of my mail because it seems I have to upgrade to Lion to access my iCloud. THIS IS CRAZY!!  I already have an iCloud account and it keeps telling me to move my account to iCloud. I NEED MY EMAIL APPLE!!!!!  It has been almost a week. I have it on my iPhone 4S but it is sporadic.  Does anyone know what I can do?  I have been an Apple customer since 2001---quickly hating every minute of my loyalty.

Well, I just found out I have to upgrade to OSX Lion in order to get my mail on my iMac. I mean, I get it if I go to iCloud on my mac, but I cannot get my mail on my Mac mail any longer. As I did research on this issue, I found out that once I moved my mac.account to iCloud, it was only a matter of time before the mac mail would stop working.

All I can say is, I'm glad it only cost $30 to upgrade.

I still think it's unfair though. They should have warned us before we moved to iCloud that this would happen.
