I went to turn the iMac on and it would not do a thing. Checked the power and unplugged and repluged it in.

I took the cards out and put them back in and now when I push the ON buttom, there are three bings in a round, but nothing happens.
It's a hardware fault. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested.
Its past being covered by Apple Care. Any idea how much that would cost?
None. Depends on what's wrong with it. If the problem is bad RAM, don't buy it from Apple.
