Q: trying to use quarkexpress 4.04 but will not load.

trying to use quarkexpress 4.04 but will not load. something about classic environment. Classic environment was started when installing adobe illustrator 10, but doesn't work with quark, or pagemaker. please help

emac, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

When you try to launch quarkexpress or pagemaker when Classic is NOT already running, do you see Classic starting up?

Do you get any kind of error message?

Just checked, Quark 4.0.4 does work in Classic/10.4.11/G5...
