Thanks, that was a very useful reply
It seems that I may have worded the original post to sound like like I beleive that all those problems are in every iPad... I do realise that I am likely to get a 100% percent iPad, I just want to be aware of the options available if I am struck with a bad one - Although I am from UK I live in Mexico in a city named Oaxaca, where between me and my GF we have more iPads and iPhones (one of each) than the iStore here has ever had, and I will be going to the USA for one week where I intend to buy the iPad, and replacement/repair is not an option, so IN THE EVENT OF ANY ISSUES i would like to be aware of what to do - just like however rare a fire is, there are always instructions about what to do in the event of a fire... For those throwing hospital metaphores. It is wise to make an informed purchase, not a blind purchase.
I'm glad none of you have had any issues anyway, the iPad is a truely remarkable product and I look forward to joining you guys in the 3rd gen iPad users club
