I had to get a new Imac loaded with os 10.7.3. I was runnibg 10.6.8 on myprevious machine. Once the software was transferred over, I cannot reregister my QTPro7.1 which Ihave been using since Tiger to get pro features. What is the answer.I reloaded from a dmg but it won't accept my serial number.

First off, Lion employs a special 64-/32-bit version of the QT structure. Assuming it is already properly embedded in the Lion OS, then you need to upgrade the QT 7 Player GUI to v7.6.6 if not already installed in your "Applications/Utilities" folder. Instructions for downloading, installing, and entering your QT 7 "Pro" registration information is located HERE if needed.
