You have 14 days to return it for a full refund. You can return it to any Apple store as long as you purchase it from Apple (on line or store)

ok put it in the oven next time and good appetite!!!

Or you can simply ask for a replacement . Simple as that.

    But suggesting to people to

"Finally, iPad put to the drawer for several hours and between the clothes for better warmth incubation. My iPad was getting 41.5°C/106.7°F throughout the process." as it states in the link you provided, is at least a joke

    Any way , your choice

hi, i have exactly the same issue. my brother and i both got the new ipad. my brothers screen is gorgeuos, crystal clear bright white and vivid colours. wheras my ipad has a horrible yellow hue and does not look retina display at all.

the problem with apple is there is not 1 manufacturer making these ipad screens. different companies have different tint on the screen and no1 seems to be doing anything about it all. apple genuis bar staff seem oblivious to this issue and are saying its not a fault and therefore they cant do anything about it. well clearly it is a manufacturing fault becuase not any 2 screens on these ipads are the same. It is a lottery to get the good screen.

DISGRACEFUL from such a HUGE company. their quality control should be 100%.

    but its actually non existent.

Replace it or place a complaint as many times as they get sick and finally exchange it to your ideal one. Next time chose store with D.O.A. policy.

I just got mine today, they say iPads manufactured before March has yellow tint. Mine is manufactured in April.

I do not see a yellow tint but I do notice that unless you see the screen directly from the center, you will see color hues.

I mean if you tilt it around you will see hue changing easily. Any one else noticed that too?

When I was buying iPhone 4s shortly after release I had it replaced 7 times due to yellowish tilt problem and ever since when I buy iDevices first thing I pay attention to is a screen. Three days ago I bought iPad 3 and to my great disappointment the screen was yellow. I decided not to go through that annoying game  Buy - Return - Buy - Return I used to play when was buying iPhone 4s, since all my previous efforts were in vain. But now after a few days of using my iPad 3 I see that half of the sheer is yellow and another half got white color!! Now I strongly believe that it's glue issue and it's drying up!

    Hello,

Once I recognised the yellow tint on my new IPad, I returned it to the Apple Store. Tried two others there, but same yellow display tint :( So I stay with my IPad 2 which looks much better.

I don't think anybody here appreciates reading emails and surfing in the web without whites being displayed as whites!

Also the viewing angle stability is very poor compared to the IPad 2. :mad:Don't like changing tint and contrast when tilting slightly the new IPad.

I am sure Apple changed to "cheaper" technologies for their Screens (same issue was for the IPhone 4S).

Sorry Apple, really not fair to display in the Apple Stores just new IPads with perfect, white screens, but to delivery only poor yellow ones! :(

I put your nonsensical conpiracy theory right up there with the "birthers" and the "Bush blew up the Twin Towers" idiots. You should be sued for libel and slander. You have no clue what you are talking about.

No, this "process" didn't work for me. I tried that process, baking the iPad 3 for days with the display on white, brightness maxed out, didn't make a difference.

As for the mfg date, mine is made in June and the display is bad. Try tilting it at various angles and I see various shades of ugly.

I'm on my second one, it's going back and I'm getting an iPad2. Very yellow hue, both times. So disappointed and those guys at the apple store look at me like I've lost my mind. But I use mine for painting, and when I opened my art on the new retina display... Hardly recognized it.

    VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
