Had mine before the powermac g3 (thinking the 9500 or 9600), but would think any mac with a serial port would work as long as you were able to find a driver. Should still work with a windows XP computer, most everything does.

if this is the cable adaptor you have, it'd most likely work with the powermac.
doubt that you could find a serial to USB for it, if you were looking for a newer model.
I had mine new in 1997 and didn't use it after 2001 when upgraded to a graphire USB, if that'd help narrow the computer range.
Wacom has a good history of long term support for drivers. I'd check their website to see what the latest mac model this tablet supported
