Q: my ipad wont start

my ipad wont start. I thought that batteries just ran out but when i connect to the charger the battery icon would not even appear. help!

Hold the power button. Does either the Apple logo or the low battery logo appear?

An apple logo shows and the uncharged battery then it goes off. It will not load.
