mine is the same as your iphone 4s on the right side, yellow, ugly, pale color screen for my iphone 4s, this time around APPLE really *****.....I want a full refund of my hard earned money....I can't live with this yellow screen....

I have heard that it was a problem before and was related to the glue and that it should go away. I have not seen it as in the pictures posted on this thread but is that what the support personnel in the store are saying! If so you might want to take a picture of it in the store and notify Apple support directly, IMHO.
How long have you had the device? And is there a dry place you can let it cure to make sure that it is not the glue?
Again I believe that Apple has pretty good support and that you should contact support directly. And sorry, but posting here might not get you the response that you want. :( (unaccetable on Steve's watch! Remember that the back of the fence is as important as the front.)
I had been using the iphone 4s for nearly a month now but still the screen looks yellow and pale, yup, I heard it in this thread to allow the glue to dry up for some time. I lived in the Philippines were the average temperature is 32-36C. And my iphone 4s is incomparable to the original crisp blue of iphone4s. The apple store that I'm referring to is the Apple store in IFC mall HK, and the only way for me to bring the phone to HK is through my friend who went there last week, were apple declined to replace my unit. Well my experience with HK shopping is not great as well. South Pacific has been a bit wet and that can be the reason. In the USA there is a 90 day warrantee (we have a 1 year defective warrantee but 90 for exchange) period but I am not sure what it is internationally so I cannot tell you how much longer to wait before you start complaining or if it is too late.
Anyway I would try to find a drier place that is warm (not too hot or cold) and dry and see if this helps cure the glue (e.g. A warm air conditioned room, if that make ps any sense). If it was me, I would send a clearer picture of it next to a good iPhone to support there and copy headquarters. I would help you if I was support but I am not (even if I agree that you have the right to look as good as the demo).
Yes, in some cases, like mine, it gets better (screen tint) but also in my case, my iphone stucks one day and had to power off and power on again and the yellow tint came back again, and even worse than first day, u may not believe me, but its true.
I have to comment that reboot, was obviously not the first one, i also have an iphone 4 with "good" blue tint to compare with my 4s when i need to, so really guys, believe me, since i buought my 4s (3 months ago) im looking fot answers to screen tint, im inmerse in this topic, in my case is not my eyes getting used to my phone, this is real, in a few words: after a month of use yellow tint almost gone, one day my iphone get stuck, reboot, and the yellow tint comeback worst than the day that bought my iphone 4s, now i have yellowish whites, greyish blacks, and washed colors AGAIN, thank you apple!!!
I would return it. Plain and simple. Apple has to recognize that they tout the iphone as a beautiful display to give the user a superior experience over their competitors.
These yellow, dull and washed out screens are completely unacceptable. Why in the world would anyone pay such high price for any product with an interactive screen that is so obviously sub par when compared to past products?
Keep pressing the issue in a kind way with Apple. Keep communicating your displeaseure. Keep calling and showing up at the Apple store and kindly insist that you are a very unhappy customer. It is incomprehensible to me that anyone should accept an inferior product display simply because Apple says it is "good enough."

Here's the good thing about Japanese companies they pay much attention to Quality and Customer to the point that if there are really flaws in their product, they are willing to admit, replace and even recall the products, unlike APPLE who is FULL of CRAP......Giving us the hardtime just to replace their scrappy iphone 4s, like my iphone 4s for example, which has a yellow display and APPLE HK declined to replace (they said that it is within the SPECS....FULL of CRAP....APPLE seems to forget something that is very important, we (customer) are the main reason for their 600 billion dollars market value. If APPLE don't pay attention to us then that might the first among their many down fall to come. I'me very disappointed with APPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've just received my brand new in the original box (not an Apple replacement type phone) iphone 4s from Apple to replace my 4s that is shutting itself down.
Strike 4! Yellow crap screen again!
Two at the store were sub standard. One shipped replacement - sub standard. One new phone shipped from Apple - sub standard.
I wonder if Apple will ever get a clue? This one is being shipped back too and I won't rest until they send me a decent phone for my money.

Any other iphone4s it's been out,, i went apple store in uk and I compare some of there's but mine was much nicer than any other,, don't get me wrong when I had last 2 handset from apple they both has yellow issue but I must be lucky
This last unit what they send me it's fine but what I notice nearly every each handset 4s out there they have different colors on screen and I mean it ,, I have checked nearly 20 4s and nearly all of them has different screen , I don't think its screen , I think something cause this to happen on screen , like somebody just post about Sony Ericsson Expedia s has this issue but they say if it's over 40celcis degrees hot than you probably notice it, well I have post this forum to apple so they are aware but I don't think they are going to admit it because it will be chaos for them, so all you guys need to do ring them and ask a replacement unit till you find good1
, it is not right who wants to see yellow screen ,, it does say retina display on 4s when they advertised , retina means hd quality screen not dull and cheap yellow screen ,,, good luck guys

Theory needs fact to support. If the quality of the retina display on iphone 4s is as good as what Apple says(your quote). Then there is not need at all that Apple hires so many workers on either this forum or the Applestore to help the users deal with their PROBLEM. The eyes of customers are brighter than Apple's. Quailty of Apple products? once Apple had, but now the quailty is diminishing. Beofre Apple sells technology, and now it sells brand name and image.
