I have the  iPod classic and I just added a new movie with a .mp4 file extension. This extension has worked before and is supported by iTunes and this iPod. It used to work but for some reason it doesn't work anymore, even with my other movies and videos. I tried restarting it and it still doesn't work. When I try to play it, it only plays the audio and has a little picture of the video, like when you're listening to music and there's a picture of the music album. Anyway, how can I fix this? I tried looking on the Apple site but it didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks!

Have tried to completely restore the iPod to factory settings and then resync the video?

    Restoring iPod to factory settings

Before you do that, try converting the video once more using iTunes' built in convert.  To do this, highlight the movie and chooose Create iPod or iPhone version from the Advanced drop down menu.  When the conversion process is finished, sync the new version over to your iPod and see if that helps.
