How long does it take to create your iTunes connect account?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

If you mean how long before you're accepted...one week is what I experienced. Access to iTunes connect is part of that process...just keep in mind that the backend is most likely busy with an spike in applications right now, so as with all things Apple, patience is key

Did you ever receive your iTunes Connect account?  I've been waiting 2 months and haven't heard a word.  I'm a patient person, but beginning to wonder if my application ended up in a cyberspace black hole.

Any idea who I might contact for information about the approval process?

If it's been this long, I would re-send the application.

    Cheers,

    Michi.

I tried but it wouldn't let me using my iTunes account because I have "a pending application" but I guess I'll create a new ID and start over.  Thanks for the advice Michi!

Well - just another brick in the wall.  I tried to create a new application with a new Apple ID - but it wouldn't let me because my EIN is already associated with the application I sent two months ago.  The message just tells me to log into iTunes Connect with my other Apple ID and manage my content.  When I try to log into iTunes Connect, it tells me my Apple ID does not have access to iTunes Connect.  (Because they haven't processed my original application)

Maybe I'm just not destined to sell books in the iBookstore.

Thanks for the idea Michi - I thought that would solve the problem.

Only other suggestion I have is to send email to Apple and ask what's happening.

    Michi.

Don't bother resending on speculation. If Apple says, then comply.

Use Safari/Mac ...hit the 'Empty caches' menu and try again.

I've tried and no one at Apple seems to know anything about how to handle this.

I'm finding that out myself.  I am trying something different - if it works I'll pass it on.
