When I click on a certain link on 2 different web sites I get logged out.  Other links on both sites work OK

One is the JvZoo site, and when I click the link to access a product download, it logs me out every time.

Other is aWeber site, and when I click link to create a new form, it logs me out.

Clicking other links on both sites, works OK and I stay logged in.

I can access both sites using my old Windows PC, and everything works OK

I have tried different browsers, cleared cache and cookies, tried using direct connection to my cable modem, and also using wireless connection from cable modem and router.

Any ideas why this is happening.  I have contacted both sites support, and both say sites should work OK on iMac.

Thanks, Lewis

This is a long shot, since I do not have an account and cannot duplicate the issue:

Open Keychain Access and click your Login keychain. Find any and all entries that appear related to JvZoo and the other site, and delete them. You will need to supply your name and password when logging in since this will delete them from Keychain.

Normally I would suggest clearing your cache but you already did that.

If you're willing to try something else here is another idea:

Creating a temporary user to isolate user-specific problems: Isolating an issue by using another user account

Delete the temporary user after you determine its effects.

At least we know what it's not

You ought to contact the website administrator and inform them of your difficulties. If they have proven it works with Safari then there must be a way to make it work. If they have not, they ought to be interested in fixing it.

Here is another thought - go to Safari Preferences > Advanced > Proxies: and click "Change Settings" which will take you to the appropriate Network preferences. Make sure that none of the boxes are checked in "select a protocol to configure".

Also, return to Safari Preferences > Advanced, and check the box "Show Develop menu in menu bar". Go to your newly displayed Develop menu, and select a different "user agent", perhaps that of a browser you have not tried yet. Load the webpage and see if you can find one that makes the website behave. If it does, this may be useful information to provide to the website's custodian.

Do you have any Safari extensions or plug-ins installed?

That's pretty crazy. I'll think about it but in the meantime you could try downloading and installing Safari again: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1070

Did you try deleting cookies from these sites?

Good suggestion but one of the first things he did:
