AFAIK, Safari doesn't support the same feature as Chrome and it would be nice to have this. You can provide feedback to Apple here.
For help with Safari bookmarks click Help from the Safari menu bar then click Safari Help.
Type bookmarks in the search field top right corner of the window.

Thanks for your fast reply. I hoped that there was a easier/quicker solution. I hope that Apple integrates it in the next update.

Right there with you...would LOVE this, as I routinely add bookmarks that are dupes AND...and, Just now I went to a bookmark that was now out of date or useless, and in safari I have to navigate (as far as I can tell) to the bookmark rather then unstaring and moving on.
