That prolly won't work I'd Reccomend two things....first be sure your iTunes is the latest version....second do a hard reset hold home and sleep wake while plugged into iTunes and as soon as the apple logo appears let go of the sleep/wake button but continue holding home...litunes will display a message at this point. If no resolution comes of that than you need to do this first. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1567....than repeat part one.

Just restore from backup. you should have a backup when the iPad does its normal sync.
