Sep 7, 2010 2:05 AM in response to Kapuzinerklosterby MacAustria,Hallo,
habe dasselbe Problem in Österreich. Bin ebenfalls bei t-mobile (nehme an, das ist Dein Provider) und mehrmals wurden SMS an diese Nummer versandt. Kostet in meinem vertrag sogar 25 Cent pro SMS. Hast Du irgendwas rausfinden können? Hast Du einen Verdacht, dass eine App das im Hintergrund verursacht?

Sep 7, 2010 2:22 AM in response to Kapuzinerklosterby wullyjum,That number is a T-Mobile UK network number that is related to activating facetime. If you search the forums that number appears a few times.
Did you buy the handset unlocked in the UK as people who are reporting this issue seem to have done so previously. -
Sep 7, 2010 2:27 AM in response to Kapuzinerklosterby MacAustria,Just got a hint what probably causes this SMS: it's when you have FaceTime activated via your carrier (in this case T-Mobile) - can be fount in settings: phone: facetime. Everytime you try to make a FaceTime call via carrier (not upon WiFi), the iPhone 4 seems to send an SMS to that suspicious UK located number. Don't know if this is caused by Apple or the provider (T-Mobile says they don't know about it). Maybe someone can find out?!?

Oct 30, 2010 2:33 PM in response to MacAustriaby JustLetMeCreateTheAccountFool,It's not related to sending facetime, it's done on every reboot of the iphone.
It's going to get expensive for those that switch off every night.. also not sure I'm keen on apple being sent information about every iphone in the world each time they're rebooted.. -
Oct 30, 2010 3:23 PM in response to Kapuzinerklosterby sn4p2k,its a text message for activating facetime not rebooting the iphone this text message will be sent everytime you turn facetime off and on which happens when you reboot the phone as well... im assuming turning off facetime will make the message stop... -

Nov 11, 2011 6:52 AM in response to Kapuzinerklosterby ikatharina,Hi there,
I am in Germany and I got the same problem with my iPhone 4. I realized that my phone had been sending these secret messages to +44 7786205094 (13ct each) about a month ago when my carrier had already charged me 3,25 euro for them. I read a few articles about it on the internet saying I should turn off FaceTime which I did. Since then it got even worse. My phone sends about 3 to 9 messages to that number p e r h o u r and I just cant stop it from doing it! I never switch off my phone, so it cant be from rebooting. This is seriously starting to **** me off, since I contacted my mobile phone service provider and they told me they had nothing to do with it and refused to stop charging me for these texts. I cant even block this number.
Would be great if someone could help!
Best regards
Katharina

Sep 5, 2012 7:21 AM in response to Manoj123by NightHawk663,The easiest thing I've found is just to deactivate facetime and iMessage through settings. That'll stop it from sending the request text to England all the time.

i received two SMS from this number, while changing my apple-id.
