I installed linux driver(Foomatic GDI), but unfortunately the workaround does not print well A4 page, because it removes part of the header sheet. Can someone help me? MamaApple, give us a working driver my printer is like new not want to change it. I do not understand why the compatibility is reduced by switching to a new OS lion.HELP ME!

Check that you have the page setup set to A4. Letter is shorter and if set as the default this could explain the loss of text on the document.

Also, it is up to Samsung to provide drivers for Lion - Apple does not make printer drivers. They simply provide a repository for common printers for helping users install a driver on Lion.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3669 doesn't show support for this printer. Since Apple doesn't make the drivers, you should contact Samsung to see if they intend to add support for this model.

Pahu, the problem is created because, samsung, until Snow Leopard, has the drivers, going to Lion, unfortunately Apple has not enabled compatibility with the supplied drivers.

I think it's absurd that a company like Apple cuts even driver compatibility. In the past there has always been super compatible.

I find it absurd and almost shocking, that to install a driver, you must use a workaroundusing linux drivers. I remain perplexed .......

I had already set the page A4 in the printer settings.

    Thanks anyway for the note!

Apple don't write the drivers for printers, the manufacturer (Samsung in your case) does, complain to them.
