my wifi get disconnected very often

My wifi get disconnected often, not while i'm using it but after I don't use it for a while I have to connected again.

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)

    try this. PING the IP of your WIFI HOST, router or whatever you call 'em ( sorry i'm not that techy )

     

    for example: D-LINK router default (192.168.0.1)

     

    here are the steps:

     

    1. on the spotlight, search for Terminal

    2. once you click terminal just type ping 192.168.0.1

    3. that's it. leave the Terminal open and do your normal thing

     

    well this works for me. better try it or look for other suggestions
