only the carrier that locked it can unlock it apple don't have the power

so if you mean factory locked then the carrier it was locked to

if you ment to write factory unlocked then you likely got chaeted by the person who claimed it was factory unlocked and you just bought a jailbroken simunlocked phone

Your iPhone seller is mis-informing you. Only the carrier to whom

the iPhone is locked can initiate the unlock, and not all carriers do

so. Contact the carrier to see if they offer unlock and what conditions

apply. Use of gevey sims is illegal in most - if not all - countries due

to how they work, and prevents any support from this forum. Contact

your seller and have him straighten out your iPhone if he can - you

might be the proud possessor of a brand new brick (no-functioning

iPhone that cannot be repaired or made to work).

Once you know the carrier, check their website for contact

information. If your iPhone seller cannot determine the

carrier your iPhone is locked to, try contacting AppleCare

and they may be able to determine which carrier the iPhone

was sold to. Contact information is in the lower left hand

corner of all pages in this forum - click on "Contact Us".
