Have you tried this?
Instead of joining it from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.

Apr 15, 2012 11:33 AM in response to Sandra43by Texas Mac Man,Try this - Turn Off your wireless router by disconnecting the power plug. Then restart the router & hopefully you'll connect.
