Hello! I'm leaving in two days and i'm really not planning to bring my macbook pro on vacation. So I want to know if I should leave my macbook pro:

1. plugged in (charging) the entire time i'm away?

2. at 40% of it's battery life (If so, should I shut it down at 40% or let it "sleep")?

Since it's gonna be summer when I come back, is it going to be safe for my macbook pro to be stored in the closet while i'm away?

Thanks so much for your help!

Macbook Pro 15 inch, Mac OS X (10.6.6)
