Apr 23, 2012 8:15 AM in response to smjones1377by Carl R Hall,Yep, pretty much what happened to me, Safari is working today????
Opened a ticket with apple but they insist it is another app on my PC causing the problems, even if it sometimes works, and is replicated on every PC I can try.

Apr 24, 2012 10:32 PM in response to smjones1377by zackfromaustin,Same, but I'm Win7 64-bit with Chrome with cross-platform syncing. It does this on different systems as well in different environments. Doesn't matter where I log in, just always happens. It's annoying the crap out of me. I was already doing the icloud.com without a #mail. Same problem. An ackowledgement of the issue would be nice on Apple's part.

Sep 12, 2016 11:46 AM in response to smjones1377by N A Burger,I had the same problem but solved it. My default browser was Internet Explorer. I am using Windows 10. I found that when I changed my default browser to Chrome the problem was resolved.
If you don't like that solution, try to sign into iCloud from Chrome and bookmark it. When you open it as a bookmark even though your default browser may be something other than Chrome it should allow you to keep signed-in after checking the box on the sign-in screen.
