Apr 16, 2012 3:23 PM in response to SoundSurfinby OGELTHORPE,As I have earlier, the RAM specifications and the amount are the correct ones for your MBP, regardless if it is 15" or 17"
I would suggest you look at your sales receipt and determine if an error has been made. If so, bring it up with the vendor. No one here can do anything about your machine in that respect.
Ciao.

Apr 16, 2012 3:31 PM in response to OGELTHORPEby SoundSurfin,Ok, thanks for all of your responses. I've uncovered the problem. I'm currently at the BestBuy where I bought it, where they did, in fact, confirm it was a 15". However, my receipt says 17" MBP... so I was charged for a 17", but HANDED a 15". ... and went all of this time thinking I had a 17" because of the way I measured it. I'm currently jumping through a million hoops to get my money back.
Thanks.
