Hello, I spent an hour and 45 mins w/ Apple Tech Support ( always knew it would come in handy)
He, the 3rd tech in the chain I spoke w/ the Escalated Tech Suporvisor click'd on and shared my MacBookPro 13" OS 10.6.8, he sent me a file that video caputred me sliding the volume to 0 in sys/prefs/sound and the sound still came through.
I like all the rest am getting overload using anything, USB YETI, ProSonus Audo, what ever, the onboard mic doesn not wanna shut up.
Scews up GB reordings completely.
at this moment all this infornation, the captured video the REINSTALLED SYSTEM SOFTWARE W/ALL UP DATES, all this info has been pass on to engineering as per Matthew Dyct the seniour tech who was assisting me an finally said, 'he don't know, someone will get back to me'
Although I should be excited about being involved in a major prob for Apple to fix, it still does not help my recording passions
