I don't think so. It just shows the number of emails you have.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I don't think you have quite understood what I mean.
On my screen I see three 'email' icons; one for each email account. If an email goes into hotmail account, that icon has a red mark on it. If one goes into my work account, that one gets a mark.
I don't need to slide, click, tap or do anything to view which account has something in it - it's just "there".
I know the iPhone as standard just has the Mail account, so you have to tap Mail to open mail, to then see which account has mail in it.
So this then goes back to my original question....

Unless you have a different app for the accounts, like if there was Google mail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail, I don't believe there's any other way to display the emails, Simon.

Thanks tho. I find that function (a very basic function) incredible useful. I don't need to tap anything at all. I just wake the phone, and there it is. That said, I suspect if you wake the iphone it will tell you before even swiping, what emails are new and from whom.
Just that it's nice to then see at a glance, which accounts have emails, which perform another 'tap'.
Also - and this is an aside - if you are in WhatsApp, and your phone goes to sleep, when you press the top button, does it go back to where you were?
Same goes for 'homebutton' when you are asleep. If you push that, then swipe to unlock, will it go to 'Home', or to where you last were?
On my phone, if it sleeps, I just tap the space bar and it wakes up at that last point.
