Suddenly, and during installtion of an appliction from the store, I was asked about the 3 security questions of my account besides my rescue e-mail.
certainly, I don't remember the 3 questions with their answers and so I logged from my computer to my apple account and I didn't find them!
So, could you solve it for me?

iPad 2, iOS 5.1, apple store

We are all users, just like you - this is not a way to get direct help from Apple, and if you don't know the answers we certainly don't. :-)

And I can only give you the same answer. How would anyone here know the answers to someone else's security questions? And what happened to you during breakfast to make you so upset about a simple answer that you resort to childish and obscene insuits? Not the best way to get help in a user-to-user technical support forum.

Go to:  appleid.apple.com  and select "Manage your account".  This will let you see and change your security questionsl.

I'm stuck too.  But I only made 1 question when I set my ID up, not 3, and that question is not 1 of the 3.

Do not worry these security questions aren't your old ones. This is asking for you to make new questions and answers for you account

I'm pretty worried about my security questions too.  I haven't forgotten how I answered, but I'm sure I will do soon!

The idea of security questions is great, but who thought up the questions?!!!  They are absolutely awful.  They should be questions where there is only one possible answer.  (Never owning a car also put me at a disadvantage too).

When I answer them in the future, I have no confidence that I wil use the same answers that I have just given.  Surely in a company as smart as Apple, they should have thought a little more about this...

Is there any way to ask our own questions?

I couldn't agree more.  This new security is terrible.  I posted about it before and Apple removed my 'rant' as a violation.  The still say that this is personally identifiable information the you DO NOT want to provide to any site where it can be hacked and stolen.  The whole thing is insulting on Apple's part - their attitude seems to be that we're all just sheep who can be told what do because there's nothing you can do about it but stop using their products. Hmmm.

It is asking you to make new questions not to remember your old ones

I just got the questions too. I am sorry, but whoever thought this up is a total idiot (and I am using a milder word than what came to mind).

First off, some choice they are giving us - answer THREE out of their FOUR (wow!) stupid questions. Second of all, the four they chose could hardly be worse. I don't know / don't remember any such things. What am I supposed to do? Write b.s. and hope I'll remember it a year later? Last but not least, since when does Apple need to have my birth year on file when I just want to buy music? What's next - my blood type and SSN number?

I am seriously considering abanding iTunes store until they change this. And yes, I also find this insulting.

I totally agree. These security questions just does not make sense and something that no one will consistently remember. I sure hope Apple will see some sense soon and change these questions or allow people to specify their own questions. I must say I'm VERY dissappointed in Apple.

You definitely should abandon the iTunes Store and do your business only with organizations that don't care if others steal your identity.

And, of course, we all know that there is only one way to deal with the identity theft problem - force the users to jump through hoops by making them memorize answers to a very short and restrictive list of idiotic questions - about their cars (personally I've never driven in my life - perhaps shocking to Californians, but not to New Yorkers), their first albums (does ANYONE remember this?), first teachers (ditto) and their first kisses (who the **** came up with that one?).

Oh, perhaps also require from users more personal information (e.g. birth year) than Apple has any legitimate business knowning. Yes, that should probably do it and of course, nothing else will suffice.
