Downloads: Date /Downloaded/ ?!

i asked this before and i think i didn't understand the answer i got.

 

is it possible to sort the Downloads folder by the date that i put the file on my Hard Drive?!

    Yes, add Date Created column to your view.  View by one of the list views using the View menu -> As List. Control-mouse click the columns and check off Date Created.  Then click on Date Created column header to sort by the date created.

    Or bring up the finder View Options for a folder and check of the appropriate Show Columns that you want which has a checkbox for mod date and create date.  You can then sort by whichever one you want.

    One of its feature is dated download folders and could be very useful for you.

    It's only included in the full version.

    I don't use the full version but it should be only the folders. It cost you nothing to try and see if it fit your needs.

    This has bugged me for quite some time, and I just discovered a partial solution, at least on 10.8.2:

     

    "Last Opened" is now a sort option -- and while it's not the same as date downloaded, it's more current than Date Created or Date Modified.
